I visited Innoshima Flower Centre a few days ago.

Innoshima is second island on Shimanami Kaido from Onomichi en route to Imabari and is famous for producing pyrethrum.
Now it is the best season to see flowers of pyrethrum islandwide.
Despite its pretty look, pyrethrum is one of the main raw materials for mosquito coil and other types of insecticide.
There were very few visitors seen in the park.
The park has a conservatory in which some tropical plants are grown.
You can enjoy a view of Seto Inland Sea from the park.
The place is worthwhile visiting for those cyclists who drop in at Innoshima Island, just a slight deviation from Shimanami Kaido.
No entrance fee is required.
